Settings

Access the settings by tapping the gear icon in the app. Here you can customize Baby Tracker to your preferences.

Number of Babies

Baby Tracker supports tracking up to 3 children. Use the slider to select how many babies you want to track:

  • 1 Baby - Single child mode
  • 2 Babies - For twins or two children
  • 3 Babies - For triplets or three children

When tracking multiple babies, you can switch between them using the tabs at the top of the main screen. Each baby has their own separate history and statistics.

Unit Settings

Temperature Unit

Choose between:

  • Celsius (°C) - Metric system
  • Fahrenheit (°F) - Imperial system

This affects how temperatures are displayed and entered throughout the app.

Weight Unit

Choose between:

  • kg - Kilograms (metric)
  • lb - Pounds (imperial)

Used when recording baby weight measurements.

Height Unit

Choose between:

  • cm - Centimeters (metric)
  • in - Inches (imperial)

Used when recording baby height/length measurements.

Volume Unit

Choose between:

  • ml - Milliliters (metric)
  • fl oz - US Fluid Ounces (imperial)

This affects how bottle feeding amounts are displayed and entered. The +/- buttons will adjust by:

  • 10 ml when using metric
  • 0.5 fl oz when using imperial
note

All data is stored internally in metric units (ml, cm, kg, °C) and converted for display based on your settings. Changing units won't affect your existing data.

Automatic Unit Detection

When you first launch the app, Baby Tracker automatically detects your region and sets appropriate default units:

  • US, Liberia, Myanmar → Imperial units (°F, lb, in, fl oz)
  • All other countries → Metric units (°C, kg, cm, ml)

You can change these defaults at any time in the settings.

Log Files

The settings screen also provides access to Export Logs, which can be helpful for troubleshooting if you encounter any issues with the app.
